「春の香り」の主人公は、マンガ家志望の女子高校生・藤森ハルカ。彼女はある日、執筆中の恋愛マンガのキャラクターと同じ名前を持つ少年・巧（タクミ）と運命的に出会い、恋に落ちるが、そんな矢先に悪性脳腫瘍が再発し、手術の影響で右手にまひが残る。ハルカは失意の中タクミに別れを告げてマンガを描くこともやめるが、家族の愛に支えられながら懸命にリハビリを続け、やがてタクミへの思いを胸にマンガの続きを描き始める。
